PLEASE NOTE: There are no live gigs or DJ set dates available right now - keep returning to this webpage, or check out our MySpace at www.myspace.com/funlovincriminalsfansite for future info on dates as they are announced.

ALSO PLEASE NOTE: There is a new Fun Lovin' Criminals album on it's way... we're just not quite sure when. As far as we know the band have finished working on it, and we are told that it "won't be much longer to wait". Again, as soon as we know anything, we'll let you know here!

We at flcnyc.co.uk are loving these videos!

Focusing around FLC's drummer Frank (as part of the Make It Nice Brothers along with his 'partner in crime', Blue Steel) it's a brilliant insight into the ups and downs of being on the road. The videos begin with Frank feeling ill, in an airport and battling against the clock to make it from a gig with Merz to meet up with the Fun Lovin' Criminals tour bus in Belgium.

There's footage of FLC from the summer of this year - on their tourbus, in the back of a stage truck, on a ferry and at The Beachdown Festival.

The Lowland Adventure is on YouTube, and is split into 4 parts (yes - we know they say it's a trilogy!):

LOWLANDS ADVENTURE PART 1

LOWLANDS ADVENTURE PART 2 (a)

LOWLANDS ADVENTURE PART 2 (b)

LOWLANDS ADVENTURE PART 3

..and whilst we're talking about Frank - why not also check out the video of his appearance fronting Uncle Frank at this year's Summer Sundae Festival, in his home town of Leicester... it's worth it, if not for the fantastic show they put on, then just for the glimpse of another FLC member in a bright pink jumpsuit!

Radio Riddler artwork by Darryl Reid (aka Boy Kid Cloud)

As the headline suggests, the Fun Lovin' Criminals' Fast and Frank (as if they aren't busy enough!) are now working on a new project... known as 'Radio Riddler'.

Radio Riddler is a production/remix team/live show and DJ outfit featuring two-thirds of FLC... Namely Fast and Frank. Not everyone knows this, but these guys have a keen interest in all things reggae/dub and so this sees them moving strongly into this musical genre.

Fast and Frank have been approached by various acts to remix/produce, and Radio Riddler gives them their own unique identity as producers/remixers.

"Along the way, many ideas have been stored in the Radio Riddler vault the Radio Riddler media entity features a web-radio show (coming soon), remixes, dub/reggae dj soundsystems, live shows (check myspace for dates)."

The guys have already set up a MySpace page for the new project, which contains some pretty damn dope examples of the work they've been doing already with mixes of Cantaloop. Uncle Frank and the awesome Roots Manuva on their MySpace player!

More news as we get it...

flcnyc.co.uk are really excited to hear that FLC's Huey is now working as part of the line up of DJ's at the BBC's 6 Music radio station.

Here's what the website/press release said before he started his DJ job:

Huey Morgan and Dave Pearce have joined BBC 6 Music's Sunday lineup.

Morgan, the lead singer of Fun Lovin' Criminals, said he was "thrilled" about joining the alternative digital station.

He said: "As a huge music lover it is a great opportunity to be able to share a massive catalogue on the radio. My mum is chuffed that I've joined the BBC as I finally have a proper job! I can't wait to get on air."

Radio 1's Dave Pearce will end his 13-year association with the station when he moves his 'Dance Anthems' show to 6 Music in October.

"I'm looking forward to bringing a celebration of club culture to the 6 Music audience and hope to bring in a new group of music fans who will discover what else 6 Music has to offer," he said.

UPDATED: OCTOBER 2008

It seems that the long wait for new Fun Lovin' Criminals merchandise is now over!

An advertisement, for new t-shirt designs has appeared on the official MySpace page for the band and via their MySpace mailing list - www.myspace.com/funlovincriminalsnyc :

"£20 inc postage and packaging (inside the UK)... these are on pre order right now!!! if you want it, come get it. drop a lil email to
funlovincriminalsmyspace@hotmail.com ... just give us your size and we will do the rest"

The suggestion is that these are the first items in a whole new collection of FLC merchandise - A blog, on the same MySpace page, at the start of July reported:

" The new merchandise are coming very soon eg. tee shirts bags hoody's all that good shit.
so look out cause you can order them from the myspace so if you want save some pennies and get some.

we will do a blog shortly of the designs."

It looks like we'd all better get saving! More info as we get it!

Cantaloop are a frequent support band for the Fun Lovin' Criminals - travelling most recently with them on their tour of Ireland last year. Their own live gigs occasionally also have a guest appearance on vocals from their former band member and now FLC drummer - Frank Benbini. We at flcnyc.co.uk love 'em to bits... and think the more people that go out and see Cantaloop playing live the better place this world will be!

They're currently on the road, following the release of their new album I.C.H.I.L.E - which along with some funky tunes well worth a listen to, also contains some great FLC remixes. With dates across the UK this Autumn/Winter there's no excuse not to go out and see them!

TOUR DATES:

For more info on the band, the single, album or their live dates (which www.flcnyc.co.uk heartily recommend!), visit Cantaloop's MySpace Page or their website.

Great news for FLC fans! The band now have their own OFFICIAL MySpace page.

www.myspace.com/funlovincriminalsnyc is run with band's full knowledge, consent and personal input... and is the first stage of FLC getting back online, following the disappearance of www.flcnyc.com last year.

It's worth visiting the page to hear an exclusive on there, a track known as 'My Style' is available on their MySpace player, along with other more well known songs..

The band are planning to follow up their MySpace with a brand new website - www.funlovincriminals.biz

The page promises "something very special coming your way..." and "blogs coming up too...". It also contains a mailing list application - which promises to send fans regular information on what the band are up to.

We at www.flcnyc.co.uk would like to welcome the guys back to the world wide web, and wish them every success with the MySpace page and the new website when it arrives!

MAKE SURE YOU ADD www.myspace.com/funlovincriminalsnyc AS YOUR MYSPACE FRIEND!

(Tell them www.flcnyc.co.uk sent ya!)

www.flcnyc.co.uk has it's own page on MySpace.

As you can see, we already have over 20000 friends, and more are always welcome! Click on the button below to visit the page.
